Tutorial Tuesday - Clay!

As you all know, I’ve been plugging away on my day-job office spruce. I’m trying not to let myself get too carried away. “HA! Good luck with that!” says everyone always. ANYWAY, I stumbled across some cool clay tutorials that might be perfect.

Can you imagine my paperclips being displayed in a little faux bois bowl? I CAN!!! And the tutorial doesn’t look hard. She said her 4-year old helped. I’m thinking that means there’s a 50% chance I could do this.

Do I need a paperweight? Probably as much as I need this. But, does anyone? I mean, were they invented for someone who works in a wind tunnel or something? I can’t think of another reason you’d need to weight paper to a surface. Regardless, GEOMETRIC! And this one seems so easy that I’m 90% sure I could pull it off.

Okay. While this is not office-related (although, I could display it in my office), I LOVE the artist - Yoshitomo Nara. My friend introduced me to his work and I felt like his creations were basically my mirror image. The word “tutorial” is very loosely applied here. But still!! Make me one! I’m not even going to attempt it. I’m giving myself a 0% chance on this one.
