If so, Gisele Bundchen (just imagine an umlaut) and Tom Brady’s house could be yours! It’s a house that Architectural Digest literally called “eco-conscious” and “normal.” Because, you know, $50M is like an average house. And moats (“picturesque but not pompous”) are totally eco-conscious (maybe it’s recycled water - my moat is such a water hog). The article says the motto of this project was “simplify.” I swear, I think rich people just string a bunch of words together and push them out of their mouth holes. Your 14,000 (!) square foot home doesn’t really qualify as “simplifying.” Maybe they were thinking 20,000 square feet, but they talked themselves down? I don’t know. Here are some pictures of this normal, simple home (you can see the whole slide show in the AD article):
The family room (not to be confused with the living room).
Gisele’s closet.
The loggia (the definition of which I had to look up).
The pool house.
The infinity pool with a view of the (smoggy-looking) ocean.
Completely and utterly normal. Just like her multitasking self.
ANYWAY! Back to the grind! The grind I need to have in order to afford our 550 square foot apartment. No rest for the wicked/weary!
