I pinned this tutorial a long time ago and it’s just been floating around in my brain (and the Pinterest board, of course) for a while. But I’m currently working on another paper project and found myself in possession of a whole bunch of 3″ x 11″ paper scraps. I figured the Universe was telling me that the time had come to try it out. So I did.
Guys, that was the best picture I could get. Along the wall with the very scratched up scratching post and the illustrated picture of Beatnik Ted on the wall. I wish I had some fabulously lit apartment that would make everything look so amazing, but…I don’t. So this will have to do.
Anyway, unlike the original tutorial, I decided to mix up the colors I had instead of doing them in sections. It was a little awkward initially, but it got easier as it went along. I have some ideas where I might put it, but it’s all up in the air. Maybe a party decoration? Or maybe I’ll make an art installation for my work wall!! We’ll see… Regardless, I LOVE IT!!!
