So…I, I mean we, decided to do more painting in the apartment. Poor Ryan. Although, in MY defense, he never sounds like he’s put out by my, I mean our, projects. He’s his own man, guys. He’d speak up for himself. I assume. Anyway, this time, we’re doing this:
We’re painting the inside of the cabinets! We bought the paint and everything!. But…we haven’t had a chance to start the painting. I’ll surprise you with the color. It’s going to be SO PRETTY! GAH! OK! IT’S TURQUOISE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t keep secrets from you guys! I’d be such a terrible spy.

My friend Christine did this with her apartment that was exactly like mine and two floors above me…it made her kitchen look like it wasn’t actually a hellhole (unlike mine). It looked so nice she took the doors of her cabinets- she had all vintage dishes and stuff so the result really was quite stunning. I’ve always wanted to steal that idea!
I wish I had some really cool vintage dishes. That would just be amazing. But the whole doors off thing wouldn’t really fly here in CA anyway, so maybe it’s better off.
I can hardly stand how excited about seeing this. Its going to be amazing!!!
