Knitted Pouf In Progress

I got the yarn in the mail the other day which means I’ve started knitting the pouf!

YAHOO!! I’m SUPER happy with the colors we ended up getting. I think it’s going to look really nice when it’s done. It’s not going to be a cake walk, though, because the yarn is very heavy which means I’ll probably be arthritic by the end. Maybe I’ll develop muscular arms. Probably not. Oh well. It’s all in the name of craft. But, per usual, there is a kink:

One Theodore Nugent Lewis. He’s OBSESSED with the yarn. I know you’re probably all “Duh. Cats like yarn. You see pictures of kittens playing with yarn all the time. Dummy.” I know, I know. I just didn’t think it was going to be such a big issue. He literally carries it away in his mouth:

It’s blurry because it’s an action shot. (Side note - isn’t his tail HILARIOUS!) Oh, Ted. If you weren’t so freaking adorable, I’d…do nothing. Let’s be honest. I’m such a pushover.

Ok, wait (record needle scratch noise). Is your cat name actually an homage to Ted Nugent, or are you just effing with us readers? I just sorta assumed he was named after Ted Theodore Logan, Esq. or Theodore “Beaver” Cleaver.

Anywho, the yarn colors are awesome and will look great with your new wall colors!

HA! No. Ted Nugent is a whack-a-doodle-doo and I would never actually name my adorable baby after him. Maybe Theodore Ruxpin. But that thing was beyond creepy.

Dude. I just realized that just about the entire apartment is grey and yellow. The bathroom too. I am caving WAYYYY too much and letting *someone* chose the colors. Yikes.
