Knitted Pouf - DONE!

FINALLY! I got up the energy to make the trek to Ikea to buy the comforter stuffing for this thing. It felt SO good to sew the ends together.

True to form, I kinda hate the colors. But since I was making it for Ryan and HE liked it, I’m okay with that. The next one I make (tee hee) will just be one solid color.

Oh, and let me give you my suggestions on the filling. I got the cheapest comforters I could find at Ikea - $7.99 for a queen/double size. The initial directions said to buy two, but didn’t specify what type. I don’t think they bought these since I would have definitely bought 3 to make it a little more filled out. Side note - can you believe it only cost $7.99 for a comforter?! Granted, it seemed like something you’d find in a prison cell as it was so thin and cheap that I can’t imagine ever using it for actual covering. But $7.99 was a great price for what I was using it for. Ikea, you’re the best!!!

It looks so good! I’m glad you finally finished it. One question though, do you really foresee yourself making another one? I have this affliction where once I’ve mastered a certain project, I never want to do it again.

I do and I don’t. I’m really not wild about the colors, but I can’t justify spending the corn on that much yarn. Again.
