I promised I’d give it a go and I’m not one to go back on my word (I totally am but this time I didn’t). So, without further ado, I present you with…the hair bow.
It kinda looks like a big red turd on my head, though, doesn’t it. My hair is curly, so it ruins the bow effect a bit. And cutting those 3 inches of hair off a couple of weeks ago didn’t help. Here’s a close-up:
Side note - does that look like a big bald spot to you guys? I’m hoping it’s some sort of optical illusion or something. I really can’t afford ladies’ Rogaine. Another thing…I couldn’t figure it out myself (the directions were a little confusing and I’m not very hair-capable as I’ve already told you), so my friend ended up doing it for me. I know, I know. The whole idea was that I’d do it myself. But does it help that I gave it the old college try? That means you really tried, right? It’s not like the government work saying.
And I don’ t know if you noticed, but I have carefully avoided my face. You guys don’t need to see me au natural (without makeup). Believe me.
So, let the mocking begin…
Oh, and as a final pick-me-up for your Monday morning, let me gift you with a picture of Ted. Doesn’t it look like he should be saying “I don’t always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.” He totally does, right?

I will also comment, non-snarkily, that the hair bow may not be the best choice, as you said, for curly hair.

And, yes, that IS Ted’s tail! It’s like a fox’s tail and is HIGHLARIOUS!!!! Ryan says it makes Ralph’s tail look pathetic and he should be embarrassed.

The not-really-balding bald spot is one of the larger curses of curly hair, especially with up-dos. I feel ya.
The good news? If you ever do find lady rogaine to be a real need, your hair replacement center ad promises that financing is available.
OMG. I was reading your comment on the elevator ride up to my office as literally (I mean it this time) burst into laughter at the part about hair replacement financing. HA! I’m sure everyone thought I was nuts crazy.
