Is it me or has Hipstamatic gone completely off the radar? Is it uncool and I didn’t get the memo? People are NUTS CRAZY about Instagram (which is SUUUUUUUUUUUUPER COOL!), but Hipstamatic is awesome too! To show you what I’m talking about, here is a photo tour of my day-job office (blerg):

The dice souvenir my sister, Margaret, bought me on a layover in Vegas. I love little souvenirs. Another testament to that is the flattened penny. I get one of those every time I see the machine. Sure, it’s $0.75 for a penny, but they’re so cool! Side note - it is VERY dusty in here…
The strange paperclips they use in my firm. I about died of laughter when I started working here because it felt a little Romper Room for a law firm. Now I kinda like them. Although it gets a little stressful when I’m grabbing them and am all “Not that one! I already have a black one, so I don’t want an orange one now! It’s not Halloween!!!”
The Aeron chair I almost physically fought for. I don’t even want to go into the chair hierarchy that exists here. Apparently, even though there are ten empty offices with unused chairs, non-attorneys aren’t afforded the LUXURY of a comfortable chair. I don’t want to talk about it anymore as it’s making me angry. And you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry…
My GORGEOUS new laptop bag. It’s for my Mac laptop, though. I wouldn’t waste this beauty on my boring, old work laptop. Barf.
And, of course, Ralph. No, he’s not in my office. Unfortunately. I swear, I’d be so much happier if he were. He would just hide under my desk all day. If I shut the door, he’d probably just lay on top of my credenza in the sun. I’m telling you…bring your cat to work day. It really should happen. I could even keep Ted on his leash!!!

75 cents for a flattened penny? I thought 51 cents was the going rate! (Have you heard the Paul F. Tompkins bit about smashed pennies?)
Well, I guess it would be 76 cents. But, yeah, the last time I got one (Sea World in San Diego), it was that much. And I’d like to say that quarters are just about pirate’s booty to me since it’s laundry money. But I’ll do it for the flat penny!! Oh, but no, I’ve never heard the Paul F. Tompkins bit. AND I LOVE HIM!
