Saucey

So, as you guys know, I like a good cocktail. My favorite is the stiletto (yummy, yummy, yummy in my tummy, tummy, tummy). But then life steps in and when you go to make yourself a SECOND drink and you realize that you’re out of bourbon (even though you really should have noticed that when you made the first drink, but you were so excited to take that first sip that you got tunnel vision). And then…it might not be such a great idea to drive to the store to get more.

SO. You have a few options. You could NOT have a second drink (hahahahahahahaa), make a different drink (why bother), walk to the store (double hahahahahaha), OR you could find an app that connects you to a liquor delivery service and have this little angel show up at your door:

SauceyNotice how the sun makes it look like he’s wearing a halo. And I’d like to point out that I opened the door and immediately asked if I could take his picture for my blog. Without batting an eye, he posed like this. I mean…sold. I love these people.

If you can’t tell from the upside-down label, the name of the app is Saucey and it delivers beer, wine and liquor all over Los Angeles. Granted, it’s not bargain basement prices, but it’s not much more than the grocery store. AND tip is included (although I forced him to take a tip because I gave them the wrong address - I’m glad I didn’t attempt to drive somewhere). AAAANNNNDDD they donate a percentage of their profits to a charity that provides clean drinking water to those in need around the world. You liquor-drinking tree-huggers will probably love that. Although, you’d probably drink wine.

This is my version of drinking responsibly. You’re welcome.
