Tutorial Tuesday!

It’s another non-specific post, guys. Cut me some slack! It’s been a busy few days and my brain hurts. Plus, these are REALLY good ones, so I think you might be able to forgive me.

Paper chandelier

Paper flower chandelier. Is this gorgeous or what? It’s gorgeous. Forget the what. Oh to have a grand, high-ceilinged foyer. This would end up looking like one of those 70′s beaded room dividers in our place. Side point - why on earth would anyone ever want one of those things? They just seem like they’d get in the way and I’d somehow end up with a mouthful of beads as a walked through with stuff in my hands. I’d probably crack at tooth or something. I blame hippies. You’d have to be on drugs to think that was a good idea. But back on topic - I want this.

remote control hider

TV Remote Hider (that sounds like a dumb thing for me to title it, but you come up with a better name - I just actually read the title and it’s called a book box which sounds much less stupid). Since we got rid of our old coffee table which had huge drawers, I’ve been at a total loss as to where to stash the crippity-crap that clutters everything up. How much fancier would it look if you just had a cool little book on the table instead of those hideous remote controls? AND it would have the bonus of making me look like an intelligent reader! It’s a win-win.

wood burned cutting board

Wood-burned cutting board. This introduced me to something I didn’t even know existed - pyrography. GAH! THAT EXISTS!! This is something that Drew Barrymore should have mastered in Firestarter. Just imagine the beautiful things she could have made while channeling her abilities into something worthwhile! I should write screenplays.

Do you forgive me? These were three random good ones, right?
